Resolved Question: Anyone heard of a movie with an Alien named Doss or something similar?

In 1997, I saw a movie on TV about aliens. This was during the 50th alien crash anniversary in Roswell, NM. The alien was stereotypical looking with big eyes and his name was something like Doss.
