Resolved Question: Cool stuff to see in the South US on roadtrip (Atlanta to California)?

I have never gotten to go out of state before, and it probably won't happen again. What is some cool stuff to see on the way to San Jose, CA from Atlanta? This is what I have so far: Crater in Arizona UFO museum in Roswell, NM Winchester House in San Jose, CA I don't care to see the Grand Canyon, but I suppose if it's on the way I'd stop there... Other than that, I don't know much else about the other states. What are the best tourist attractions along the way int he southern states? Forgot to mention I can leave beginning in May and must be back by September, and I will plan my trip around the best attractions times.... Read More »
